Jaclyn Gilligan
Business Manager at Hampstead
I first started my yoga journey when I was 10 years old. I would follow my mom around at work, rolling towels as she helped open the first Hot Asana in North Carolina. When we moved home to New Hampshire, my mom, Paula, opened the first Sweat and Soul (Hot Asana at the time) in Hampstead, NH, and it has been my second home ever since. I developed a love for the art of yoga, and ever since my first class, I haven't been able to get enough of it. I decided to take my first yoga teacher training in 2023 and got the opportunity to find this love, enjoyment, and embrace of teaching yoga on my own. I teach a powerful, loud, strengthening, lengthening, twisty class. I love funky transitions and keeping clients on their toes with all different poses and flows. I truly think it is a teacher's job to create a space for students to feel safe. To create a place for clients to be completely comfortable to express who they are through movement without feeling like anyone is watching.
